Meet Dr. Kris Gurr

My name is Kris Gurr and I would love to take a minute to introduce myself before I meet you in person.My father was a chaplain in the Air Force so we moved around the world until he retired when I was 12 years old. I was raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and even though I loved it I was excited to get away from the heat and the big city.

I love to travel and do everything outdoors with my family. My wife Brooke and I have two children and love to go hiking, 4-wheeling, fishing and playing with them outdoors in the Hatchers Pass area. My wife Brooke is a hygienist and will be working alongside me in my practice.

We both look forward to practicing dentistry in Wasilla and serve in the community and surrounding area. I have worked in the dental field for many years and have been able to care for and provide exceptional care for my patients.

Brooke and I are committed to providing dental care and personalized communication.

Dr. Wes Lauderback

My name is Dr. Wes Lauderback and I would love to take a minute to introduce myself before I meet you in person.

I grew up in Johnson City, Tennessee and attended the University of Tennessee where I met my wife, Angela. Together we moved to Nashville, TN where we had our first two children (Brayden-7 and Avery-5) and I completed dental school.

After Dental school I joined the army and completed a one year residency where I got side by side training from some of the Army’s best dental specialists. Our family was then assigned to JBER, AK where we had our third child (Jackson-2) and I served as the brigade dentist for 4^th Brigade/25^th Infantry Division for two years, including airborne training and a deployment to Afghanistan. I then served as regular army dentist for two additional years. Although I’m sad my time in the army has come to an end I am excited to start working at Lucille Dental and serving Wasilla’s dental needs.

Over the past 4 years I have fallen in love with Alaska and love to do anything outdoors including hiking, fishing, hunting and camping with my family.

I look forward to practicing dentistry in Wasilla and serve in the community and surrounding area.

Jordan Morris

Hi, my name is Jordan Morris. I grew up in New Mexico where my dad was in the oil field industry, resulting in us moving every 2 years. This has continued into my married life, where we have lived now in 7 states, we have especially loved Alaska so far.

I enjoy everything outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Whenever I’m not in the office, I’m working on a wood project or adventuring with my wife and 5 children. I love to fish, bike, hike and camp.

I love to work with my hands which is one reason I enjoy dentistry. I try to stay up to date with advances in technology and I continue to further my education in all aspects of patient care.

I am thrilled to be serving patients here in the Matsu Valley, and I’m excited to learn about the area and the people.

Dr Wayland Hunter

My name is Wayland Hunter and I’m very excited to be a member of the meridian team! I was born and raised in Minnesota and I’m a proud graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.

I married my high school sweetheart, Breeta, half way through dental school. Last spring, she was selected into the Family Medical Residency at Providence. We are both very excited to be here! In our free time, we enjoy hiking, running, cooking, and spending time with friends.

I’m looking forward to serving the local community by providing comprehensive quality dental care for my patients.
